Music Living

Have you seen the pictures from the Music Living project in the portfolio section? I wanted to share with you the creative process of this living room, since I really enjoyed designing it. 

Lets get right into it; this space was inspired by music because the client wanted to have a place to play the guitar, listen to music, read and entertain.

From the beginning, I was inspired by a music pentagram and searched for decor that would function as an abstraction of that theme. 

I was excited to find this watercolor wallpaper that had the color scheme I was aiming for, and the linear effect that reflected sheet music.

This certainly created a focal point for the room and a statement to the concept. To break the lines I decided to add a 37 inch round mirror to the wall and a bar cart. I also wanted to display the guitar and a milk can filled with flowers to bring it all together, but keeping it clean and simple.
